ACT's mission is to help people across disabilities to see themselves as part of a larger disability rights movement and make connections to other civil and human rights struggles.

We are soliciting presentation proposals from self-advocates, organizations and/or individuals working with and for people with disabilities.

 

We are looking for proposals in the areas of:

     - Individual Empowerment

     - Organizing

     - Systems Change

 

In response to feedback from past attendees, we are looking for workshops that use a variety of approaches, are highly interactive, involve the participants in active learning and include self-advocates as presenters.
