Get on the Bus

We had the Freedom Bus here in Missoula, MT in June. We had a huge gathering at a local park with the bus and displays. We were able to get proclamations from our Mayor, our County Commissioners and Senator Baucus in Washington, D.C.

It was held at a weekly event that included live music and catered food. We learned that there are usually less than 15 people attending that have an obvious disability but we had a show of about 200 people with disabilities along with the usual crowd. It was a great evening!

And our staff at Summit Independent Living Center had our picture taken with the bus and team! They have taken on a wonderful project, let’s hope the word gets around!
