Start Seeing Change

It’s hard to see change, but it’s important that we do. Good things are happening all around the world. Consider this from Dr. Saif al-Hajri of Qatar:

“People in Qatar are finally starting to behave right. The family attitude is changing. Now they take the handicapped child to public malls and parks. This was not happening six or seven years ago.”

What do you see changing in your area?

1.

Group Work

Talk about what’s different in your community today versus ten years ago. (Or twenty years ago.) Keep the list up on the wall where you meet.

When we know change is happening, it gives us hope to keep working. Send your group’s list to SARN and we’ll post it. Thanks.

Changing Attitudes
Dr. al-Hajri’s comment shows how attitudes are changing in Qatar. This self-led workshop helps your group think about harmful attitudes in society and how to change them.
