Speaking Out Without Words

Self-advocacy is a movement in which we speak for ourselves—to say what we want in our life, at work, at the capitol. But how do people speak out when they don’t use words to communicate?

Does your self-advocacy group have members and leaders who are nonverbal? How have you included those of us who don’t speak? How do you allow for those of us who have other ways to communicate?

Let’s share ideas. The movement needs all of us.
