Students with disabilities need to think about what’s coming after high-school and build the skills to be successful. ASK! is an exciting, student-centered curriculum that guides high-school classes to do just that. The starting point is a fast-paced DVD of interviews with real students with disabilities. After watching these students pose questions and give their own unscripted answers, the class takes up a series of exercises that help them think about the same issues. ASK! helps young people prepare for transition by expanding their self-awareness and building skills of asking for help and taking small steps to pursue their goals.
