Self-Advocacy in 20 Minutes
Meeting Builders are short activities designed to be used during your regular meetings. Using Meeting Builders, group members will build skills in self-advocacy, self-determination and leadership. These units range from discussion starters, to art projects, to role-plays, to empowerment tools. They cover a wide range of topics, using a wide range of learning styles. Each of the 18 units has been tested with many groups – these are tools that have been successful in improving the lives of self-advocates.
