A human rights handbook for people with developmental disabilities
In 2007, the United Nations passed a new law: people with disabilities have the same rights as everyone else. This accessibly written and designed "mini manual" will support persons with developmental disabilities (self-advocates) wishing to do human rights education and advocacy work. They can use it to not only learn about their basic human rights, but also to teach others about these rights.
Self-advocates and allies who want a simple tool to help them connect disability and human rights.
