*Note – Self-Advocacy Academy classes, currently offered on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday with both Virtual and In-person options from 10am to Noon, are not shown on the calendar below. These classes require at least a semester-long commitment and a thorough intake process. Don’t let that stop you from signing up and know that we have quality Self-Advocacy programming 5 days a week.

    Disability Power Day

    November 6, 2020

Disability Power Day came about from feedback following the Statewide Self-Advocacy Conference. Attendees loved the opportunity to meet people from other self-advocacy groups and they loved the workshops. People loved it so much we decided to launch a monthly mini conference which we call Disability Power Day. We cover important topics like building friendships, speaking up for yourself, connecting with your community, and learning about your human rights.

Contact pmitchell@selfadvocacy.org, (612) 314-6497 for the Zoom log-in information and for any other questions.
