*Note – Self-Advocacy Academy classes, currently offered on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday with both Virtual and In-person options from 10am to Noon, are not shown on the calendar below. These classes require at least a semester-long commitment and a thorough intake process. Don’t let that stop you from signing up and know that we have quality Self-Advocacy programming 5 days a week.

October 6, 2022Disability Power Day came about from feedback following the Statewide Self-Advocacy Conference. Attendees loved the opportunity to meet people from other self-advocacy groups and they loved the workshops. People loved it so much we decided to launch a monthly mini conference which we call Disability Power Day. We cover important topics like building friendships, speaking up for yourself, connecting with your community, and learning about your human rights.
